Margaret’s Cottage was one of three cottages owned by Rookery Farm , where the owner grew up. These cottages were to provide homes for the farm labourers and Margaret’s the second largest, was for the Farm Foreman and the biggest cottage, Norah’s Cottage at the other end was for the Farm Manager with the smallest cottage in the middle being for the Cowman- you could never be late for work! These cottages date back to the 1890’s and Margaret’s Cottage is ideal for a peaceful, rural holiday but still is close enough to lots of amenities and family entertainment.
