Arrival, Parking & Check In
There is parking for 2 cars included.

Please check-in at Sutton Staithe Boatyard Reception.

General Information
Broadland Orion has:

• Nanni diesel engine
• Bow Thruster
• Electric Anchor Winch
• GPS speed monitor
• Warm air heating
• 240 volt electric – The 240 volt is via an inverter for the television and small appliances i.e. phone chargers.
• Shore power – enabling you to plug into the mains with a shore power lead. The electric charging points are operated with contactless cards costing £1 from outlets throughout the Broads and available from Sutton Staithe Boatyard.
• Easy to handle

Saloon
In the saloon there is comfortable seating, plenty of storage. You will also find:

• TV
• Radio
• Fold away dining table

Galley
In the galley, you will find:

• Gas oven
• Gas grill
• 4 burner hob
• Under counter fridge
• Sink
  
• Crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots, pans and kettle

Cabins
The bow cabin sleeps 2 people in 2 single berths.

The double bed pulls out in the saloon.

Shower Room & Toilet
There is independent access to a good-sized toilet and separate shower room with wash basin.

Cockpit & Outside Space
In the centre of the boat is the cockpit. Perfect for being outside and this is where you will find the helm and companion seat, also a further 2 seats to make outside seating for 4 guests.

The canopy folds down easily to enable passage under the bridges.  For Wroxham Bridge please make sure you use the Bridge Pilot.  You cannot cruise under Potter Heigham Bridge.

Dogs welcome
1 well behaved dog is welcome at an extra charge of £35 per week per dog. Please contact if you wish to bring 2 small dogs. We ask that you bring your own doggy life jacket.

Additional Information
Training and Familiarisation: You will receive a ‘how-to’ video prior to your holiday and full training once you’ve checked in. We will take as long as you need to make sure you are confident to start your holiday cruising adventure.

Fuel Deposit: Your hire price includes £100.00 fuel deposit and on return the tank will be re-filled and you will either be refunded or charged the excess.

Damage Waiver: A £100 Security Deposit will be required. This will be pre-authorised from your debit or credit card 3 days prior to your arrival and returned 3 days after your departure providing the boat is left in the same condition it was at the start of your hire and no breakages or internal or external damage has occurred.

All Male and Female Parties: Are welcome with a larger security deposit. Please contact us directly to discuss.

Travel Insurance: We recommend that you take out sufficient personal travel insurance to cover you and your party for your total stay. It is your responsibility to make sure that the policy is suitable for your needs and provides cover for holiday boating.  When booking through Riverside Holidays, you will have an opportunity to take out travel insurance through X Cover. 

Medical Electrical Appliances: Sorry, none of the boats will operate electrical appliances for medical reasons (e.g. a nebuliser to aid breathing).

Online Groceries: If you wish for an on-line grocery shop to be delivered to the boatyard, we can put that on board for you prior to your arrival.

You must not fish from the boat when the boat is moving or from the stern with the engine running.
