Martham Mill

Riverside, Martham, Norfolk, NR29 4RG

Martham Mill Norfolk Broads Holiday Home. Dog Friendly, Day Boat Included Available from Riverside Holidays Ltd

This unique property offers you the opportunity to stay in a traditional Norfolk Windmill in a Broadland riverside location.
Martham Mill was built in 1908 by well respected and admired Millwright, Dan England. Martham Mill, also known as Bracys Mill has stood proudly overlooking the River Thurne and Hickling Broad for over a century. The Windmill has been sensitively renovated in order not to detract from its original purpose but still has all the modern facilities you require to enjoy your holiday.
The Mill stands by itself in an enclosed garden surrounded by idyllic Broadland Marshes and can be reached by boat or a 10 minute walk along a concrete path from your individual car parking space.

Around the mill within the enclosed garden are lovely areas to sit with seating provided to enjoy the most splendid evening views across uninterrupted countryside. Sit quietly and you may see Barn Owls and Marsh Harriers and can listen to the Bittern boom.
