Upriver is one of the riverside bungalows situated on the Hickling Bank of the River Thurne.
Southerly facing and with 45 feet of river frontage, Upriver is the ideal place for a tranquil get away. Sit and relax while watching the river and passing boats.

The bedroom has a standard double bed, bedside tables,  chest of drawers, a clothes hanging space and a TV.

Bedroom 3
The bedroom has a standard single bed, bedside table and a TV.

Shower Rooms
Both the main shower room and the ensuite to bedroom 1 have a shower cubicle, sink and toilet.  The ensuite has an electric towel rail.

Outside Space
There is patio door access to the decked area leading to lawned garden with large river frontage.  From the garden you have unobstructed views of the river. There are wonderful views across the wide expanse of Norfolk Broads marshlands. 

There is garden furniture with a garden table and seating for 4-6.

The ideal spot for fishing (seasonal & licence required) with a tackle shed in the garden and bait fridge.

You may moor a hire boat at Upriver. Please note this may block some of the view of the river.

Dogs are welcome
Well behaved dogs are welcome at an extra charge of £35 per dog per week (maximum 2 dogs).

There is fencing to the rear where the access footpath is.  The river frontage in unfenced so not to spoil the wonderful views.

Parents and dog owners please note there is unfenced river frontage here, please take special care with children and dogs.

Additional Information

Towels are not provided at this property.

Owners boat will be moored in the boat dyke. But there is still room to moor a hire boat on the frontage.

ACCESSIBILITY

Upriver is approximately a 15 minute walk – 770 meters* from the Old Bridge area along a narrow riverside path.  Due to its location there is no vehicle access, only accessible by foot or boat.  River Taxi access can be arranged at an extra charge. 

At times of extreme high tides the river path can be liable to flooding.  It is advisable to bring wellies with you just in case.

There is 1 step to get onto the decking which leads to the entrance to the bungalow.   Once inside, it is all on one level.
